William Stephen
William Stephen, a self taught glass artist, has been creating fused art since 2005.
William began designing and constructing at an early age and his passion has lead him to many creative endeavors. Following in his father’s footsteps William has worked in the automotive business which is heavily influenced by art and design.
It became evident that the artistic and design aspects of building were what inspired William and he found himself dedicating all of his free time to making his own art.
William has worked with many different materials, but finds himself drawn to glass due to its versatility and natural place in modern home design. He is deeply intrigued by colour and composition and finds that the exploration of these two elements are the driving force behind his work in glass.
William is currently working to create a name for himself as a fused glass artist and is looking forward to the opportunity of working with galleries and private clients to create commissioned works that bring dreams into reality.
William works out of his studio in the Scarborough Bluffs where the natural landscape on his property provides constant inspiration as it changes with the seasons.
